Lake Chapala is the second largest lake in Latin America, measuring fifty miles wide and ten miles across. The surrounding towns including Chapala, Ajijic, San Antonio Tlay, Jocotepec and others are easily accesible from Guadalajara International Airport by car. Guadalajara is just 45 kilometers from Lakeside.
